Mike’s Story

Mike’s journey towards diagnosis was filled with confusion, frustration and a lack of support. Regular meltdowns, depression and dark thoughts left him, and those who loved him, struggling to find hope.

Mike and his family thought post diagnosis, things must get better! But they found that a later-in-life diagnosis doesn’t guarantee additional support!

Then everything changed. Mike began engaging with EnFold where he found understanding, guidance and, most importantly, practical support. He began to make sense of himself and his experiences. He began to see a future.

Now, Mike has turned his lived experience into a strength, using it to make a meaningful difference at EnFold. As an Autism Support Practitioner, he combines his professional training with personal insight, enabling him to build stronger connections, provide tailored support, and achieve better outcomes for the people he works with.
